yo! drem, what’s on your mindchamp?

 i went the for a walk the other day and as i walked past the beach i saw 3 little kids playing in the sand 1 one of them a girl was building a sandcastle and the other 2 were boys they played on thier water gun pistles shooting out water at each other. now as walked by slowly and i watched them. i was looking at thier happy faces as they ran around laughing it looked like they were having fun.

i couldn’t help but think what my life was like at that age what lay ahead of me all the challenges i never saw coming all the worries i’ve had to put myself through all the troubles i’ve put my dad through and all the heartaches i put my mum through. 

now as i thought deep and i walked through i couldnt help thinking the same for those happy kids. then i thought about and my journey in life in comparision. will they make it will i make it will they ever live long enough to find out. 

will they ever let someone kill their dreams. will they ever let someone tell them they aint good enough. will they ever let someone tell them to stand down. will i ever let someone hold me back.

as i walked by on my way to the homeless shelter 

where i volunteered i passed a bunch of teengers just hanging about they were doing thier thing but off the  corner of eye i could see a passerby who’d just come out of a car what looked like a mercedes he approch the group and handed them a bag of what looked like a bag of narcotics. 

i couldn’t help but think what my life was like at that age once again what lay ahead of me all the challenges i never saw coming all the worries i’ve had to put myself through all the troubles i’ve put my dad through and all the headaches i put my mama through. 

as i thought deep and i walked through i couldnt help thinking the same for those teenages boys. then i thought about it and i thought about it and i thought about my journey in comparision. will they make it will i make it will they ever live freely to find out. 

but i guess those teenger boys chose thier own paths
