Once upon a time there was a city called Babylon

It grew so strong ruled over the world

Conquered the world and took prisoners of war

Guided by the high walls and the rivers Euphrates

And the people felt safe because of the rivers

But in one night all the rivers dried up

And Oh oh oh the rivers run dry

And in one night the rivers ran dry

As a world it was full of wicked people

And the almighty said he’s had enough

And he sent his anointed Cyrus against this city

And Cyrus besieged this world of wicked people

Only good people within these walls were worth saving

The walls came down and rivers he dried up

And oh oh oh the rivers run dry

Cyrus the great freed the people within these walls

But this once great city became of a heap of ruins

And the prisoners of war within the walls he set free

And they went back to rebuild Jerusalem

Although this once great city is no more

But there’s still another Babylon enslaving the masses

And just like the ancient Babylon it’ll soon be gone
